They are photographing you listening to music (probably enigma) and being naughty with yourself, better delete ASAP!
I’m not a conspiracist so I’m good.
At UPS I worked with many of these tracking companies as we used them for various e-commerce campaigns.
A lot of worry about nothing.
I know I can talk to my wife about a certain product and the next thing I notice is I am being served up an ad about that product.
I look at it as a feature of service and like that.
I got a really good price on an upright rollator that was half the price of the model I had been discussing with my wife.
Alexa definitely is listening ... I just make sure I don’t say anything about my plan to assassinate Jeff Bezos! LOL

Are you joking about being served up the ads?

Surely I can’t be the only one who is nervous over his far reach into people’s privacy.
Before Facebook existed, experian, equifax, and transunion gathered a ton of information about our lives in order to give each of us a credit rating that any business or bank or employer can access. These three companies know damn near everything about you and no one ever cared and that was well before Facebook. I don’t think most people care.

I just don’t want to make anything easy for these companies. I’m not necessarily paranoid about big brother, but hey, you never know

I think most people care but realize there isn’t much you can do about it.

Are you joking about being served up the ads?
Probably not. I've had that happen as well as people I was talking to. One time a buddy and I were discussing an old franchise that's not that big today and later he got an ad for it on Facebook. One morning there was a hornet's nest over my door and I went into class and was discussing with another guy and the instructor on how to safely get rid of them. The next time I opened Youtube, there was a recommended video on how to remove hornet nests. They like to claim it's because "you're more normal than you think" or something but give me a break. Some things are just too obscure or specific.

I have Alexa on and sitting right in front of my keyboard.
I ask her stuff all the time and then an ad will appear on Facebook, Outlook, and other sites that rely on advertising for revenue.
Log out of Brown Cafe and you will be served up Ads as well.
I pretty much consciously ignore them but subconsciously, the brain is scanning and 'specific' Ads will catch my attention.

And yet another reason Alexa is NOT welcome in my house. She’s too nosy. Lol.

No comparison.
You're uninformed.
