Hell, even when they can duplicate it it is no guarantee that they know what the problem is. We have a couple of deisels that have starting issues. During the business deliveries they do fine starting (I think becasue they sit for a few minutes). During resi they won't start (I think because they are only shut of for as much as 30 seconds to a minute max). When trying to start up again the starters either engage and don't fire or just spin. If the starter spins then you have to shut it off and wait for the starter to stop completely or it just keeps spinning. It can take 2 or 3 or 4 attempts to get them to start. This wastes soooo much time.
