Michael Cohen

Why is Cohen here? He is a convicted perjurer .
He's got nothing that has anything that hasn't been wallowed to death.
Just more focus on, let's get more bad headlines on Trump.

If he is this horrible person, why did trump intrust him to be his personal lawyer deeply involved in his business dealings.

This argument is weird. It's like trump hired for a decade or more a criminal, lying lawyer, who is going to jail in part for illegally paying off trump's mistresses to keep that story from being released before the elections, and we shouldn't believe anything he says, but that doesn't at all reflect badly on trump?

It is yet another example that conservatives don't actually believe most of the stuff they discuss. I mean trump calls himself the law and order president and many conservatives consider themselves about the law, they invoke this ideal against undocumented immigrants, against black lives matter protests, etc, I have no problem with immigrants "just respect our laws". I have no problem with protests just respect the law. Yet, trump is clearly connected to a crime. Mike Cohen is going to jail for that crime and they don't give one damn about the president following the law.
conservatives are frauds. They only care about who, if you belong to a group they hate, then they'll demand you follow the law, if you are trump its optional.

Washington D.C...….Now we know that D. C. stands for Democrat Clowns !! The hearing was a liar's Oscar festivity!!

Again, Mike Cohen committed crimes that he is going to jail for. Trump is directly involved with commission of one of those crimes. It is not surprising that law and order conservatives don't give a damn about Trump's criminal behavior, but it is revealing to those paying attention.

So Trump is the only man in history who has paid off a woman to keep his wife from finding out???? Grow up!!

No one goes to jail for paying off a mistress so the question is wholly irrelevant to this situation. Mike Cohen committed crimes and is going to jail for those crimes. One of those crimes directly involved trump, which means the president of the US was directly involved in the commission of a crime while he is president, but that doesn't matter to law and order conservatives.

I keep pointing out that conservatives don't believe the stuff the claim, it is all a sham. It gets proven over and over again.

Everything Cohen said can be refuted or corroborated by several other witnesses. It’s odd that there were no republicans clamoring to bring those witnesses in and put them under oath. They’d rather just yell, “Liar, liar, pants on fire!”

Lol. They know Cohen’s telling the truth and they know it’s all coming out.

The crazy thing is that there is evidence that the president participated in a felony while in office. His own signature is evidence of it. So what are the republicans left to argue? A felony does not rise to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors”? Lol. Trey Parker and Matt Stone couldn’t have written the script better for them.

The form he (Cohen) was supposed to fill out regarding foreign companies, he marked as "N/A" He can be further charged on that. He's a liar/fool and no one really believes anything he says...….old Lanny's there too....

Actually, I think one of the congresswomen debunked that in the chamber. She even quoted the form.

He tried to pull a Podesta and do it retroactively.

Only ok for "special" people.

Republican attack on Cohen over paperwork falls flat

"Meadows’s attack was apparently based on a misreading of the Truth in Testimony form, which reads in part, "If you are a non-governmental witness, please list any contracts or payments originating with a foreign government and related to the hearing's subject matter that you or the organization(s) you represent at this hearing received in the current year and previous two calendar years." Cohen qualifies as a nongovernmental witness, and even Meadows conceded he had no contracts with a foreign government.

A few minutes later, Rep. Katie Hill, D-Calif., pointed out Meadows’s error.

“I want to mention really quick a clarification on the Truth in Testimony form,” said Hill. “The mention was around whether it talks about foreign entities at all, and the question is in fact whether witnesses have any contracts or payments originating with a foreign government. It does not cover all foreign entities, just foreign government entities. So Mr. Cohen, what I’d like to ask you to do is review this issue over lunch with your attorneys, and if you need to amend your form we ask that you do that before the conclusion of today’s hearing.”

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, turned to face Meadows after Hill’s statement, and a camera caught Meadows winking at him."

Legal forms are written for legal reading. Meadows swung for the fences and fell on his face.

Indeed. But the sound bite of Meadows attacking Cohen that Fox News would use to hard sell folks like @moreluck and @oldngray had already been produced. You can bet they didn't make that correction/distinction in their coverage of the hearings last night.

That's why Chip Roy still turned and winked at Meadows after Katie Hill spoke up with the correction. The propaganda machine already had what it needed for the ride or die Trumpers.

It does make the “criminal referral” look ridiculous.
