Basically a cylinder with a tiny window, no seats, and no toilet. No radio, They "ping" every 15 minutes and send small texts when possible. When these stopped, the mother ship called authorities. There were 7 different ways for it to surface if there was a problem, and, I think, 5 redundant oxygen systems. An explosive decompression would explain a lot. I hope they're alive, but the expert watched deemed it highly unlikely.
While I'm obviously no expert I have to agree with you. A hull that was about 7 feet in diameter is now about 10 inches in diameter and will someday be found at the bottom of the Atlantic about 2 and a half miles down . Given the known deficiencies and penny pinching in it's design and construction was so profound that it even scared the hell out of Josh Gates the one and only time he was on it.....good god man, they were just asking for it.
