Major League Baseball responded to calls to boycott the state of Georgia over a controversial new voter-ID law by moving the All-Star game out of the Peach State.

The biggest downfall of our country is people who receive welfare checks and such get the same vote as hardworking people paying taxes. Has nothing to do with race or gender. But what happens is that we have half the country who votes based on who the bigger Santa Claus is that will give them free stuff. With not a care in the world about the future consequences to this country.

And if anything, the voting age should be increased, not decreased. Most people under 25 or even 30 don't know anything about politics. College age kids are voting based on the brainwashing their getting from their professors. Why is an 18 year old canceling out a vote when they may barely pay taxes, probably still living with parents, where political issues don't apply to them?

I honestly get sick to my stomach browsing these threads and seeing people arguing over who is going to give us the most!

It’s human nature though. The wars these people refuse to fight will be inherited by their children or grandchildren. The national debt that increases their standard of living in the here and now comes at the expense of those who will come after. A lot of great suffering and pain was endured by the Americans that came before us and died creating the greatest and most just empire man has ever seen, we are squandering it selfishly.
