New feeder driver

Starting this Monday in Easton PA as a feeder driver.
I was hired off the street 3 weeks ago full time.
are there any advice or tips anyone willing to share.
also what should expect on the first day or first week.
Been driving tractors for about 8 years but based on the road test and YouTube videos I’ve watched. UPS seems like a very different company.
Thanks in advance

Do all the drivers really double clutch or is it just for qualifications ?

It's just for qualifying.
One of our drivers had the examiner say, "they teach you to double clutch don't they?".
Driver: "yes".
Examiner: "you don't have to on this check ride".

So I don't give you bad info, do what you were taught during training and the check ride.
After you qualify, and you want a left knee that works, you'll "slip shift" without the clutch.

Coincidentally, you will probably be taught to park with the trans in neutral. Some drivers have failed their check ride because of this.

Ask me why we are taught to park in neutral.

Hope this helps.
