I think we've all been lied to enough to be skeptical that this will just be a branding change. Why take on the cost to only add confusion to who can pick up and deliver which packages?

Not dropping hints or speculating. Ground will be Ground, Express will be Express. FedEx decides that all opcos will go to the same color scheme and the dumbest among us go into overdrive explaining, in great detail, that this means Express will go ISP / Express is going all PT / Ground and Express will become a hybrid opco / whatever.

We've seen all sorts of detailed plans here about this great upsetting of the applecart over the last 5 years. Most of it originated from 2 or 3 people who were always seeing "internal documents" "obvious operational changes" proving that this was eminent and unavoidable, yet no one else saw any of it.

Yup, airmail Express stays separate from Ground ~ HD ops... the customers will have to squint ever so slightly at the bottom right corner of the FedEx logo at the newer doortags n vehicles to decipher which is which
