No tax on overtime

Guys thinking they were gonna somehow get rich off this tax cut we’re gonna be really upset. I’m certainly not one of those and I will be more than happy to take even the small tax cut.
I will be happy to take it but I will also admit that is far from the No Tax on Overtime that was sold to us.

Now, if I'm wrong in how I read it and we can deduct the full overtime amount including base pay then I will wear my wife's "Daddy's home" Trump sweatshirt in public.

I think most of us have been around long enough to understand. The promises made by presidents rarely reach their rhetoric.

TDS sufferers will never accept any thing Trump does. Maybe they should refuse the money?

We need 100m deportations or we don’t have a home anymore. If Trump deportations exceed Obama era I will be shocked.

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled against activist judges putting nationwide injunctions on everything Trump does including legit deportations, we should see it pickup. Zero illegal crossings last month is a remarkable place to be after the disaster that was Brandon.

An overall lower tax rate would have been less confusing. But whatever. I'll take it.

Remember, the Bill extends the significant 2017 tax cuts. That was the main basis of this whole bill. The OT credit is also meant to award hard workers willing to do more than the minimum.

When Trump was proposing no tax on OT he never went into specifics beyond that. Of course it would always have to go through Congress and I think most people would've predicted a cap. There are people who do 20 hours OT a week (we do sometimes), that amount of income not taxed never would pass.

Also drastically increases our medical costs and skyrockets the national debt.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to justify your vote.
