He inherited his money. Born with a silver spoon from trusts his father set up. He is NOT a good businessman. He and his companies have filed for Bankruptcy 11 times. Please stop, he is not what you think he is. The tariffs ended up being right where they were before he ed with them. All he did was allow insider trading to bloom for whoever he shared the news preemptively with about raising and lowering tariffs.

Makes me respect Biden that much more, he went from a poor lifeguard, to owning multiple houses, and becoming a millionaire, all on a public servants salary. It looks like he passed his financial expertise to his son. Just think of what Biden could have accomplished had he not dedicated his life to public service.
