Not Scheduled to Work a Saturday—Can I be Forced?

Extra hours isn't the question. Most drivers put in extra hours all year around, for many years. The issue at hand is a fakenews required 6th punch. Article 54 in most locals clearly states the workweek will consist of 5 consecutive workdays -- language doesn't get much clearer.

When the Saturday work comes I get asked if I *want to* come in.

But I have a strong local.

Or its, "we could really use you it's been a bad week".

It's, "I'll see if I can get permission for you guys to only run your own stuff but we really do need you"

"want to make some extra cash?"

Here we are asked.

But we got a lot of 22.4s already.
