I go ahead and deliver a lot of stuff in weather like this but it mostly gets bagged and dropped by their garage or the bottom of steps. I'm not walking up your icy steps or through a foot of snow you left on your sidewalk.


Some guys won't even attempt unless they have a clear clean walk path and I can't say I blame them.
Thought Ii was getting the call today.

No shovel/plow, no front door delivery. I don't mess around. Bag it and tie it to the mailbox. My safety is more important than getting that package to a customer's front door.

The number of people that will shovel a huge driveway but not a 10 ft walk to the front door is amazing.
Because they use the garage. And that's right where I'll leave a package. Lol.

I had a woman last year complain because I was leaving her packages at her garage. I told her because her steps were icy and unsafe. She told me to hold onto the rail. Uh, no. I'll just leave it at the bottom.
