That's what happened to my buddy last year. Hr had enough time to retire but wasn't ready to give it up.

He was off a few months after getting the same problem fixed...then he said hey this is nice....friend* this place,I'm out.

That is the rub.
I did not want to retire but after a year or so, no way I would want to go back.

View attachment 67532 Too many gray hairs on my chin, this is from two Summers ago. I don't like beards on package drivers and body piercings, my opinion. Its easier to shave than keep a beard trimmed. I'm still undecided about retiring. I would have to stay home with my wife and I get paid to exercise right now.

Starting the last week of my 4 week surgery "vacation". I go back on the 8th and my plan is to drive for about a month before starting the 22.3 job that I am seriously considering bidding.

The one good thing about this break is the 10 lbs that I gained. The bad part is that it is all in my midsection.

From what I gather most don't care. The times I have mentioned BC to my retired friends they aren't interested. Too bad. This place could used more irrelevant old timers to keep you rookies on your toes.
