Around here they have the right to access your property every five years to check for improvements so they can up your taxes. You don't have to let them in your house but they do walk around your property. Somehow they always manage to take their tour when you aren't home. They can act like they are God. The job is one that someday will be taken over by drones. Anyone who builds a storage shed here with a wood floor in it puts a couple of ten inch holes (with covers) in the floor and calls it a fishhouse so it isn't taxed.
