I don't understand why you guys take lunch in the evening, you're gonna take a lunch now and then do 8 stops?

We have to take lunch between 12-3 most of us go from 2-3...
We deliver till 2 take lunch then finish...why would you take a lunch an hour before you go home? Help me understand.
I can understand that in the winter when you are trying to save daylight
