It's always the 9.5 guys who seem to pick it up on Fridays. I get the 9.5 list and why it exists. And I respect it. But you can't tell me Monday-Thursday an 8.7 dispatch is really a 10 hour when you can do it in 8.9 on Friday.
One thing that may happen are pickups cutting out early. Also, problem pickups always seem to be ready early on Fridays.

I usually just my ass the first hour..dint want to get behind too early in the game. Then work at a normal pace for a while.
Burn up a home section, then put it coasting mod
It's always interesting to watch the stop counts throughout the day. And not in a negative way. You can see how guys are getting more and more tired. The first 2 hours of the day stops are flying off like crazy, then slow down before break, pick back up post break, and slow down again come an hour or two after break. Though some guys pick back up because of tight pickup traces. But even still between 10-11 you can expect around 21-22 SPORH from our in town guys and around 6 about 13-14. Little higher if it's summer and still light out

You can't do this job for decades and run full steam all day.
I know my route inside and out, frontwards and backwards.

The first two decades of driving a non power steering ,high step truck did a lot of damage to my body.
