Here's what I know. Volume is down compared to last year....less routes are running. We have new drivers kicked back to preloading and laid off preloaders. I have amazon prime and everything I order comes free 2 day shipping thru USPS....plus Sunday delivery. And they fired a sup today.

I'm hunkering down, doing my job and praying for daylight....lol

Wow. We are as heavy as ever here.

I could see the more rural areas keeping some of the volume but the cities losing it.

I heard we lost a few major mall stores to FedEx ground recently. And the lack of amazon is astounding. Yea we have some....but not like last year.

And I work in surburbia....not the city. Its all shopping and strip malls, businesses, schools and residential houses.

At least we had "EDD" today. I hope no one is trying to track an Express package. Nothing is showing. I don't know if the other FedEx OpCos are effected or not. I'm wondering if we got hacked. An outage has never happened before to effect all systems.

FedEx Ground is sucking volume from both UPS AND FedEx express. They're building new terminals all over.

Well I meant close to the city as in Amazon can quickly get packages there without using us.


In the middle of BFE like me USPS would take an extra 2-3 days.
