I think it is BS when companies change the default to statements online and you have to go online to change your preferences so they mail you statements. For instance I do online banking but still want them to mail me a hard copy on my statements. Even worse is like what Aetna just did a couple of weeks ago and changed to online statements and of course I had to go online to change it back. Rather difficult for someone without a computer to do. Aetna is more important for them to mail because those statements are usually a couple of months after I see a doctor and I don't want to have to keep wasting my time logging in to their website just to check whether or how much the insurance paid.
