Wife has been wanting a pool. We have granddaughter for several weeks this summer. bottom line. bought a pool. got a good deal on it. installed it last week. It's no big deal. 15' round pool, 42" tall. Filled it full of water. Went down to leslie pools and had no idea what to buy. they sold us: a skimmer. he told us some of the chemicals he sold us went in there. a floating thing. He said some chemicals went in there as well. a jug of instant conditioner. a small tub of 3" jumbo tabs of sanitizer. don't know where to go from here. Don't want the water to turn green. have to build a small deck and buy a better ladder to climb in and over on. This pool has become a pain in the ass. What do I do first?
Fill a small bottle with pool water take it to your local swimming pool supply I use Leslie's they can test it and tell you what you need

uh, yeah.:blushing:

Does it have a skimmer/pump inlet that hangs over the side?

If it does, just put your chlorine tablet in that. Those float things work ok, but you get good water flow over the tab in the skimmer. Make sure to get test strips.

My BIL had one of those fabric ones for about five years with no problems.
