Question, all 3 maple trees have deep dark burgundy leaves, in July they start to turn green, does this happen to yours?

They need sunlight to turn red. At least that is what I think. Mine don't turn green in July.

That happens to the maple in my backyard. ...i have no idea what type it is....when the leaves come in I'll send you a pic.

Since you guys seem so knowledgeable about trees, maybe one of y'all can tell me what kind of tree this is. They grow on the side of the road and are kind of spindly looking. These are in someone's yard.
