We still use leaded fuel in airplanes. The smell is intoxicating. The only problem is the lead buildup on the plugs if you run the fuel/air mixture too rich

It's true....I remember a Soprano's scene filmed at a gas station off the.Garden State parkway....they had to get special permission to film the actor pumping his own gas. I don't know the reason why though. It's Jersey....nuff said....lol

It was probably to save jobs at some point and now people are afraid to repeal it because it would mean thousands of lost jobs.

I'd pump gas on the Jersey turnpike. I bet those guys make a freaking fortune in tips.
