SLACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Server space hasn't really caused any issues yet. Storage seems to have gotten less expensive over time. Actually it's all gotten way less expensive over time to store more data.Just curious Cheryl, but has there been any discussion with regards to purging old threads, say more than 2 years old to save some server space?
Well thanks for doing it so we have a place to come and hang out. It means a lot to me.Server space hasn't really caused any issues yet. Storage seems to have gotten less expensive over time. Actually it's all gotten way less expensive over time to store more data.
I paid more than twice as much for server space 10 years ago, but ads also brought in more than twice as much revenue with way less traffic. It all seems to even out. That's been my experience, although I'm no expert.
Does a bear sh** in the woods??? Lol. I drive around all day thinking about what I'm gonna cook on the weekend!
I've done chicken legs with some hickory smoke and some rub and quaker stake and lube sauce. I'm shure a whole chicken is in my near future!I did a whole chicken on mine Monday night with a little cherry and pecan smoke. My wife picked the carcass and cooked the bones down for broth, and I made gnocchi soup last night with the leftovers. Good eating.
Did you use pre packaged wood chips or chunks of real wood? I see people on internet using big chunks of real wood but I don't know where to buy that. Your lowes/ Home Depot carry many flavors of the wood chips but I want to try a big hunk of wood. Where should I look?I did a whole chicken on mine Monday night with a little cherry and pecan smoke. I know @jumpman23 would like this.

Yea. I think I put my wife and kids and neighbor off a little bit with the hickory. I like it but I think it was 2 strong for them. I'll pick up some apple wood and pecan tomorrow I think.I use chips that I buy mostly. If you have any orchards around, you can usually get some pieces of fruitwood from them. I used to deliver to an apple orchard, and they would let me grab a piece of their firewood every now and then. You can also find chunk wood online.
I like apple, cherry and pecan chips, because I'm not after a really powerful smoke flavor. If I use hickory or mesquite, I feel like I'm sweating the smell out of my pores for a couple days.
