Have asked them to disable that feature in the ECM, but them said NO.

I have an OBD II reader. You can buy a generic one for a few dollars. I have used it to reset check engine light but I didn't know it would also reset Passlock.

I have an OBD II reader. You can buy a generic one for a few dollars. I have used it to reset check engine light but I didn't know it would also reset Passlock.

With the right app or right reader you can do anything.


Mines wireless so it gives real time info to my phone.

The apps that do it all cost some money.



On a side note the auto makers are trying to get congress to pass a law that makes it illegal for you or me to mess with the ECM.
