What kind of jeep do you have?

4 door wrangler I thought.

The TPMS sensor for Jeeps looks very similar to the sensors on my Tacoma. The problem is not so much the cost of the sensor, but the cost of getting it paired to the ECU.

Some brands use proprietary software that only the dealer has.

They are currently trying to get laws passed so basically no one can work on their own vehicle. Watch what happens to repair
Bills then.

Ok. That makes more sense. I was gonna say 90% of wrangler owners put different tires on which would screw it all up anyway.

How?

As long as I use my original wheels or other wheels that my sensors will fit, I can use any size tire that will fit.

Big Arrow Down...D

He literally plug the laptop into my car somewhere and was calibrating it through the laptop I had a feeling it wasn't going to be cheap

I guess they can program them to all different psi?

You also have people who change their psi frequently depending on conditions.

Just seems like a total pain in the ass

It's not just a $.99 fix anymore...and if you don't do it properly your check engine light probably will come on and then you can't pass inspection...they get you one way or another.

No. All the same and a factory preset.

They just have to deal with it.

Yes, but it is a good system.

Had my first access point today.

Didn't have the right notices because just yesterday I asked a sup if we had any access points. He laughed and was like hell no we have any here.
