Hard to believe in this day and age that people still live like this. The house has electricity because I saw a meter. It wouldn't surprise me if they used an outhouse though. It's in a small town.

And access point is a massive fail. Just got word that one of the larger centers in the area had every access point drop out of the program this week.

You can't blame them. I guess it's not worth whatever UPS is paying to be a warehouse.

Those packages pile up and are there a week before UPS picks them up to RTS.

I don't have a problem with it as long as the customer knows what they are getting.

FedEx is test marketing the same concept. Big difference is the packages are being left at FedEx Office (Kinkos). I doubt the locations get paid for it.

The problem is UPS wants to dump everything at Access Points whether the customer wants it or not.

Ours is misty ups stores but they are franchises and opted out

They only pay them 50¢ a package.
If it's a UPS store they pay them a $1 a package.
They claim it will bring in customers to your store. That's what the are telling these guys.
Not giving them a choice. And we aren't allowed to over ride it.
