My cousin has built all 4 of their houses from the ground up. His wife is usually still trying to make changes after the walls are up.At least my wife has gotten to the point where she will only say "We should" a half a dozen times on any one project before she realizes WE aren't going to do that. (She then goes and hires a professional and quits bugging me). I've totally remodeled 2 of our houses by myself and just can't get into it anymore. I keep reminding her that when we built our last house from the ground up when I retired it was (according to her) "perfect". Apparently perfect only lasts about 2 or 3 years now days.
