Anyone got any college savings suggestions?

Coverdell education investment account. Separate 529 savings plan and if your state offers "prepaid " college savings for state university, do it. Florida has them. We have those 3 separate accounts for each child. Also there are other options where if your parents want to set up education accounts for them.

The northern most part of Minnesota is called the Northwest Angle. To get to it you have to either drive into Canada and then back into the US or risk boating across Canadian waters on the Lake of the Woods. There has never been a border guard station when you drive up there going into the Northwest Angle---just a sign that says Welcome to the USA. One time when we drove up there someone had put up a sign that said. No Border Patrol on Duty---pat yourself down.

Detroit is great.......during the daytime.

My buddies and I used to fly into Detroit every year for the car show. We spent the whole day looking at cars and then hit the Detroit-Windsor tunnel over to Canada at night to visit the casinos and restaurants and topless bars. Our dollar is pretty good in Canada. the last time we went we also went up to the Palace at Auburn Hills and saw a Pistons game. Had a fantastic time.
