Hey grill masters ....time to buy a new grill for Deb ....but in the mean time the covers to the burners basically crumbled ....can I still cook on them till I buy a new one ? Or will it screw up the steaks etc?

Are you talking about the heat deflectors or the burners themselves? The deflectors are easily replaced.
