I was out photographing and entertaining guests and catching the last 10 minutes of (NE - Brady).

I thought at the time it was a too early for you to be at your post I had made a nice comment that someone "assumed" was aimed at Upstate so it got deleted.

It's been quiet lately which is nice.
The biggest workload today was trying to keep a "Tribute to Sept 11th" thread respectful, so a change in direction and we just moved the thread to Current Events and restored all the deleted posts except a couple which were personal insults.
Too bad we can't be respectful of a "Memorial" thread when it is outside Current Events.

I read an interesting article written by some New Yorker who wanted the whole "Remember" thing dropped. He said he never watches tv , looks at the internet or reads a newspaper on Sept 11th because he didn't want to be reminded of any of the horrors that happened that day. He said was sick of seeing the same planes crash into the towers-sick of seeing the same people jumping to their deaths and basically just wanted to be able to forget about it. I know that isn't probably the correct thing to do but even I admit the 24 hour coverage on Sept. 11th rehashes the same old things over and over and over again.

It's gotten to the point where now the are doing 2 hour shows on people who were trapped in elevators and two hour shows on Flight 93 and there was even a 2 hour show on people trapped in the hotel basement. Enough is enough. Every year they come up with new 2 hour shows that are all basically the same thing.
