I'm going to disappoint you.
I forgot to post the update to how the slippery elm bark powder was working out for my hubbies Ulcerative Colitis. He was taking Apriso, lialda never did work for him, Apriso was too expensive to continue with and is known to cause organ failure. I'm happy to report so far so good. He had some bleeding initially after coming off of the Apriso but that has subsided completely at this point.
He is eating 1 handful of unsweetened coconut flakes 2 x daily
Taking 2 tablespoons of aloe vera inner leaf gel
And approx 2 tbsp of the powdered slippery elm.
Total cost spent on the natural remedy approximately 30 bucks.
