The estimated cost of a full restoration was 200 million US . A public request for American donations for that restoration was launched a few months ago, The only problem is that the building is owned by the French government. It burned down before it fell down which in the end will likely launch the construction of an entirely new building which will hopefully have a history of it's own that will last for generations longer than the old one would have.

Oh it’s definitely not. Some of the best naps I had as a kid were thanks to preachers saying similar sounding stuff for an hour or two every Sunday.
