Why do research when you can just keep making stuff up?

I did post links with the posts I made.

for some reason when i asked you for your links you claimed you did not know how to paste them. When given instruction on how to post links you still did not post your sources. Please clean up your mess on the way out it appears you have soiled yourself......again.

I guess I can always move to Canada when I retire. I would rather live under there socialism than Obamaism

Sometimes you have to take two steps backwards in order to take one step forward. Give the kid a break. He was backed by every teamster that works at UPS.
And anyways, Klein will guide us all through this mess, step by step.
But Obamajoebiden does sound a lot like Osama binladen.
When the wind kicks out of the southwest, the fish will be bite'n.

We repealed the catistraphic health care thing 20 years ago after only 18 months and that bill had bi-partison support. This Obamacare will soon be repealled

In my opinion, we're screwed...

If this insurance mandate is so good, why does the president and democrats have to "sell" it now that it is law?

Shouldn't the president and democrats move on to more important concerns, like job stimulus, immigration reform, the conflicts in the middle east and deficit reduction?

Anyone who as read the law, the amendments and the CBO "preliminary" report (that the democrats are touting as fact) you'll see that, at least, 3 million people will loose employer provided coverage.

You'll also figure out that the way this laws "reduces" deficits is by raising taxes and cutting funding from existing Medicare and Medicaid programs - the same programs that most "underprivileged" people will be forced into, should they not be able to "afford" to pay for their own insurance.

The kicker is another way they plan to "pay" for this program is through billions of dollars "fees" imposed upon those who can not or do not buy the federally mandated insurance policies.

In addition to higher taxes, why would the law rely on nearly $70 billion dollars in "penalties" to help pay for it?

Again, I have to ask, if this law is so good, why must they sell it to the public?

You want Facts? We're screwed!

Remember what Pelosi said?

It is very refreshing to see something posted on the topic that is based upon "real" information instead of here-say and rumors. The American public supported a bill based upon a few buzz words and popular sound bites. Anyone with half a brain should realize you can't give 30 million people something they didn't have before unless someone else is going to pay for it.

Trust me, it isn't refreshing to try to figure out how all this crap is going to effect me and my family. To this day, I can not fully grasp the gravity of this law and getting real answers is nearly impossible.

In all fairness though, there are several very good and very important mandates that will protect most Americans. So I understand and can appreciate the principals behind it. However, at what cost to American Taxpayers?

I also run a small business (with no employees). So, this can (and appears to) have a significant impact on my bottom line. This law appears reduce my net income by 10% to 20% or more - depending on how the "fees" and taxes are applied. And trust me, my spouse and I are not making more than $250k a year.

I could rant a whole helluva lot on some of the specific details and "laws of unintended consequences" caused by this legislation, but my views are slowly appearing in MSM and the public will learn soon enough.

I can't wait until November!
