http://dailycaller.com/2016/04/10/the-8-obamacare-co-ops-most-likely-to-fail-this-year/

Eight of the 11 remaining Obamacare health insurance co-ops appear likely to fail this year, according to an analysis of financial documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Twelve of the original 23 federally-financed co-ops have already collapsed. The co-op program was funded with $2.5 billion in 2010.
The co-ops with the most losses in 2015 were in Massachusetts, Oregon, Ohio, Connecticut, Montana, Wisconsin, Illinois and New Mexico. All eight burned through about 50 percent of their total assets in 2015. The assets were supposed to last for 20 years under the terms of the federal funding program.

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint.

Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a
time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then
waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't
reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6
months from then pending the review boards decision on his age and
remaining value to society.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet.

The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care...

In November, if a Republican isn't elected....we'll all have to find a good
vet!

I've never understood the idiots who spend $5000 to do that kind of surgery on a dog that will die in a year or two.

But since you brought it up, pet insurance doesn't cover hip replacement.

Apparently you failed to check Embrace Pet Ins...they cover hip replacement surgery in dogs!!! Dysplasia is a common ailment in many breeds....German Shepherds especially. Check your facts before you spout off, sprout!!

Perhaps you should check the terms of their policies. Breeds that are prone to hip dysplasia are not covered. It's a genetic defect in the breed. But that's what you would like insurance for people to be like too right? None of this obamacare garbage where pre existing conditions can't be excluded....

testimonial from a client....

At just 1-year-old, Elliot Cool needed hip replacement surgery.

Actual Vet Bill:
$5,074.99

Covered Charges:
$5,074.99

Embrace Reimbursed:
$3,962.39

While hip dysplasia is a fairly common orthopedic condition in aging dogs, it's not so common in puppies. Sadly for Elliot Cool, a 1 year old German Coolie, he was the exception to the rule.

Elliot's pet parent, Amy H., tells his story:
"When my 1 year old German Coolie, Elliot Cool, came up three-legged lame after a fun weekend of running and playing, I knew something was wrong right away. After bringing him to the vet for an exam and radiographs, my worst fears were confirmed. Elliot Cool was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and would need hip replacement surgery if he was going to be able to live out a full, active life without constant, debilitating pain.

You're wrong dude. This started as a joke about Obamacare. You have turned it into something else and yuo are trying to be intelligent to the hilt, but your facts are all wrong.
Dog's insurances will cover hip stuff. What about when dogs get hit by cars? To say something isn't covered is just stupid.....they will cover anything anyone is willing to pay for.

We can at least agree on that, everything you post is a joke.

That's not Obamacare. That's Medicare.

It would be fitting that on the last day Obama is in office , they few remaining ACA Exchanges finally announced that they were all broke and shutting down .
