Yes, we have the Model 3 and love it. Plenty fast. We get updates via Wifi every week or two, its like having a new car all the time.

I'm not really sure what Gavin Mussolini is thinking about getting rid of gasoline engines when we already have rolling black-outs every time it gets hotter than 80 degrees. Also, shutting down nuclear power plants doesn't help.

Another thing... many people out here are getting solar for their homes (on their rooftops) several of our neighbors have solar. We are getting close to getting it as the technology is getting better all the time.
Be sure to lease, not buy, so that you are not responsible for the disposal of the toxic panels in 20 years or less.

Lawmakers call for Newsom to allow Disneyland, other CA theme parks to reopen

A large group of state legislators is now asking Gov. Gavin Newsom to allow theme parks to reopen.

According to Deadline, the group of 18 California state senators and assemblymembers sent a letter Monday requesting the governor to issue guidelines for parks like Disneyland, Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego and LEGOLAND California.

The lawmakers argue that many indoor facilities are already operating safely, and theme parks could, too.

Disneyland, Walt Disney World to lay off 28,000 employees due to COVID-19 pandemic

Disneyland officials and the mayors of several Orange County cities recently called on Gov. Gavin Newsom to release guidelines that would bring theme parks closer to reopening in the Golden State, warning that a lack of action could lead to dire consequences for employees and local economies.

“Tens of thousands of people’s livelihoods depend on our ability to operate and we stand ready and willing to accelerate discussions with the Governor and his team to make ‘real progress’ toward our reopening and getting people back to work,” Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said in a statement released about two weeks ago.

Out here on the east coast, many Royal Farms feature multiple Tesla charging stations (I'm guessing they struck some sort of partnership). They're unused most of the time.

Update.
A California man has been arrested after a man walking his 10-month-old granddaughter in a stroller in Calabasas was sucker-punched in the face.

Angel Sanchez Jr. of Santa Barbara was arrested in Oxnard on Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed.

The 29-year-old has been charged with assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury.

The suspect has also been linked to a previous attack in the 26000 block of Agoura Road.

Police say they are continuing to investigate Sanchez's motive but confirm that both his victims are of Asian descent.

Already out on the streets again, no doubt.

In California, I have learned that statements which would have sounded laughably absurd thirty years ago are also presently within the realm of reality.

Oops! Free stuff for illegal's comes back to bite the taxpayers.

The state had budget surpluses in excess of $100 billion, allowing Democratic leaders to greatly expand government services - including guaranteeing free lunch for all public school students and offering government-funded health insurance to all eligible adults regardless of their immigration status.

They just need to set up auto turrets at the border and a seismic machine that collapses the tunnels underneath it. But it won’t happen due to all the human rights violations groups bitching.

This is happening everywhere now thanks to the internet. California, however, is the one pushing that degenerate globalist :censored2: on the rest of the country and the idiots leaving the state are poisoning the others.
