An OMS is not a supervisor. They are "administrative assistants".
Some lazy center manager's and on-road sups.... try to "pass the buck" by delegating responsibilities to the OMS.
But, at the end of the day.... they are secretary's. Nothing more.
There are good ones {and drivers will work with them}.... And then, there are egotist.... that don't know their place.

Official title is Package Center Supervisor. Changed from OMS a few years ago.
I would say they are Management since they get paid as such. Also, If they weren't Supervisors they wouldn't be able to tell drivers what to do. A non-management secretary can't tell union workers what to do with any authority.
If UPS wasn't Union no doubt they would be administrative assisstants.
