I don't know why any of these students would minimize their windowMy wife is a teacher and she tells me how the virtual learning was very problematic last year. Students frequently didn't show up, cheated and those that did, often logged in and minimized the window to go play Fortnite. Access to technology was another obstacle especially for lower income students or those living in rural areas.
Nothing, when the parents are teaching it. One day if you have children, God help us, you will understand. You will realize how much school systems and teachers cross boundaries of what they should teach.poor reporting. whats wrong with teaching about social justice?
why not school? civics should be taught in school. youre taught social studies which is a bunch of crap and likely largely dismisses the collective actions of average joes which has largely shaped history for the better.Nothing, when the parents are teaching it.
Marxism? I agree.haha what a bunch of crap.
It promotes and celebrates ugliness, weakness, and victimhood.poor reporting. whats wrong with teaching about social justice?

Civics IS taught in school, but not in elementary or middle school (I think).why not school? civics should be taught in school. youre taught social studies which is a bunch of crap and likely largely dismisses the collective actions of average joes which has largely shaped history for the better.
They can be. Social justice celebrates and glorifies being one.people arent victims of others actions including systems?
i vaguely recall nader complaining about it.Civics IS taught in school, but not in elementary or middle school (I think).
i always thought social justice is people taking action to demand change instead of doing nothing besides voting. if people are celebrating and glorifying being victims, then why do they want it changed? They can be. Social justice celebrates and glorifies being one.
I read the article, it sounds like they are trying to protect the privacy of other people's children (why should you be privy to a conversation that someone else's child has with the teacher?) which I hadn't really thought about but it does make sense. Having said that it doesn't seem practical or enforceable.Redirect Notice

Don’t worry grandpa, nobody uses cash anymore.I believe after this COVID thing is finally done we are going to be left with a generation of kids that are dumber than a box of rocks and at the very least a couple of years behind in school. They not only won't be able to make change for a dollar but won't even know what a dollar bill is.
this is easy math and necessary. ppl will know this.I believe after this COVID thing is finally done we are going to be left with a generation of kids that are dumber than a box of rocks and at the very least a couple of years behind in school. I'm not worried that the coming generations will be dumb asses. I've been lowly getting used to it thanks to observing the last couple of them--- like yours.Don’t worry grandpa, nobody uses cash anymore.
last great americans were people protesting in 1960s and 70s. then before that great depression protestors.I'm not worried that the coming generations will be dumb asses. I've been lowly getting used to it thanks to observing the last couple of them--- like yours.
