Local FedEx Ground guy having some issues..

Looks to be the SUV driver was trying to pass when Ground was turning left..
SUV must have been going pretty fast to shove under there.

This could have happened to anyone, hope the drivers were ok. It doesn't matter what company it is, it's still terrible. We must all be ever diligent this time of year, as everyone, not just us are in a big hurry and distracted.

Most certainly can happen to anyone, as you can see I didn't point blame at the FDX driver or his skills... and if you knew the types of drivers we have around here... its not surprising to see an accident like this.

Sorry if I came across as snippy, wasn't my intention. We have all seen the close calls. It is enough of a challenge during "normal" volume, my point was we are just getting started with peak, and its additional challenges. It only takes a moment to be in this situation.

One of my drivers had a similar accident. Other driver ran a red light and T-boned the truck. No injuries and surprisingly little damage to the truck (suv totaled). Mostly cosmetic. Takes alot of energy even to get into the frame let alone affect the I-beam.
