lets say you had to choose between $$$ and working an 8 hour only day, regardless of position (lets pretend no PT, all FT shifts with the necessary schedule moves to fit it)

I want to work 9-10 hours 5 days a week. Of your two options I'd take the excess OT over no OT ever unless we got a significant enough raise to make 2080 hours a year comparable to what I currently average.

Or he starts at 6 am preload and is done at 6. 11 hours with a little OT equals a pretty decent check.
