For sure, and if we willfully violated the contract we would eventually be shown the door.I Don’t get too hung up on someone having an occasional 9.5 issue. But people working 55 and 60 hours every week because the company knows they have a staffing issue and refuses to hire seems blatant to me.
Thoughts on this

Ask every night at 9 hrs if you're allowed to go over 9.5 or at whatever time you need for return to building. So if an hour ask at 8.5.etc.
Tell them no answer is an assumed authorization to work past 9.5
Would this create an auto win paper trail?
