PEAK?

You expect your manager to respect you, yet you show no respect to them. Who can you be talking to that early in the morning? I haven't had a prework meeting since last peek but you can at least stand there and daydream. To get on the phone can also prevent a coworker from listening if he wants to. If my senior saw you on a phone during his meeting, you would have to answer to him. That action can come back to bite you when you need a manager or senior to have your back for something.
My management team respects me, both SM and Ops managers, because I speak my mind in a nice way, but I also do my job well. I'm not TALKING on my phone, Doofus. Don't worry about who I'm talking to. I don't remember you paying my bills. I don't answer to you or anyone else.

Dude, do you even read other's posts?? I have never said anything of the sort. I worry about what I make, or don't make. I worry that others are not being treated fairly. I could not care in the least whether you have two or ten pensions. Why in the hell would I even need to care what anyone else's numbers are????? How does it benefit me to know that? If anything, it is bad for me to know because it might piss me off. I try to eliminate stress and stupidity in my life, whether from people like you or from FedEx. You're so funny totally overestimating your importance in the lives of anyone here.
How do you define being treated fairly?

Why is this funny @bbsam?
How can you claim not to care about other couriers numbers (an issue that would have to come up in grievances) and claim you would do well representing their interests? Besides, your SM is a nice guy. How long before your fellow drivers noticed the "buddy buddy" relationship the two of you have? Remember the company you work for.

Because if I was a Steward, it would be different. Of course I would fight for them. I didn't say we have a Buddy buddy relationship. We're friendly, nothing more. I think he respects my opinion on things, because I speak my mind and don't kiss anyone's butt. Everyone, including managers, are intimidated by him. Not me. He puts his pants on the same way I do.

My guess is they already do.

Doesn't work that way OP. Either you have it in you to fight for others or you don't.

He respects your opinion as an individual. I would bet that changes drastically if you were representing a group of unions workers that put him in a bad light in Memphis.

Who do you think is the one who speaks up at SFA meetings, or calls management out on things that are wrong. I have no problem pulling policy and using it to my advantage. They respect me. They may not always like me, but they respect me.

Oh I'm sure. I'm not stupid. I know that he would drop the friendliness if backed too far in a corner.
