You must be topped out in a middle market making $43 plus, at time + half. I miss the days when employee reviews and sick days affected our pay.

The days of pay for performance are long gone. All you can do now is get the sick pay money every June and hope you get all 40

I believe you guys can handle it. The fedex trucks in pnw area are empty! Ground and express. I asked the ground guy why his truck was so empty. He said he hasn't seen amazon at all this peak. Same thing at express. No amazon. The express driver told me he is just happy to have a job.

Well it's not like Fedex delivers 99% Amazon so I doubt that has a whole lot to do with it

Sounds like management overstaffed the station. I find it hard to believe routes have nothing to do at a station during this time of year unless they have too many routes to begin with. Our station runs lean on people and makes up the difference with overtime. We stay busy and everyone gets as many hours as you want. Now that vacations are blacked out and everyone is working, we are handling the volume so far. Next week will be crazy with long hours and plenty of stops. It is supposed to be that way, it is peak. If stations have routes doing nothing, it most likely isn't lack of freight, it's too many people.

I'm getting a ton of Amazon for my area. All these country folks don't want to get out in the cold and drive 10 miles to the Walmart in the area. 11 hr days, I will take the OT.... bring on Saturday. If I can get a 20 hour extra OT check that would be nice

I'm doing the same number of stops as I do all year (110+) but my route is currently 1/3rd of its normal size and I'm leaving the station an hour later. Peak is here on my route for sure.

Whelp, I spoke too soon... Just got some after an 11 hour day. I thought my mileage would shrink...
Dang, I think one of my supplemental drivers quit. I had to play super Tetris to cram what I can.
Still zero Amazon parcels, but I'm getting a huge amount of USPS barcodes in my pile!
Clocked out at 2115, but drove home n fueled up the budget rental an hour later... so I'm just gonna chill n eat my late dinner
