No, but I did buy my current
car (luxo pickups aren't my thing) with cash. Albeit it wasn't $50k, at full time top rate, I could easily do the same if it was.
I've been living like I make $20-30k for almost a decade, despite my income getting higher and higher every year. When it comes to non-necessities, I only spend my money on things I take a
specific interest in, so the amount of disposable income I have to safely throw at those things is considerably high. And when I'm suddenly making $80k+, I intend to keep my lifestyle exactly the same. Yeah, the big-ticket toys might get a little pricier, but still so far below my means it's not even funny.
