I'm just on the bubble of knowing this stuff after been driving for 17 years. Every once in a while we get a younger driver ask why it's called sheeting.

Most young drivers...never heard of knocking on the door!...Just throw and go.....our customers expect a little more than that!!

No doubt. I'm one of the annoying drivers. I honk my horn (two quick toots) when I pull up to a residence. Then when I walk up I ring the doorbell (if there is one) AND ring the bell. I want to cover as many bases as I can to make sure the customer knows I am/was there.
