Police: Stolen FedEx truck crashes into telephone pole in Daytona Beach
Officials say the driver was outside the truck delivering a package when the suspect jumped inside and took off.

Generally Express does not leave the vehicle running while away from it. So I would say no. Article shows the vehicle.Express?
Sure you don’t mean training manure?Ground probably left the key in and running... seems to be in their training manual.
Do it. Then he can get a REAL jobI always wanna take the keys out of the ignition of the ground dudes truck on my rte and leave them in his seat with a note that says “next time you may not be so lucky”. Probably wouldn’t stop him from continuing.
He doesn’t want to do any jobDo it. Then he can get a REAL job
The public sees Fedex all the same.It was Ground alright.
No big surprise there.
Doesn’t mean squat to me in this discussion. It’s Ground here. You know the division of FDX that gets away with all sorts of crap that would have you fired at Express. The public sees Fedex all the same.
What did he have to do that day? 1300 stops for $13 an hour?Doesn’t mean squat to me in this discussion. It’s Ground here. You know the division of FDX that gets away with all sorts of crap that would have you fired at Express.
1300 stops for $120 a day probably closer to the mark. What did he have to do that day? 1300 stops for $13 an hour?
Sounds about right . And since to get that crate started that morning they probably had to coast it down a hill and pop the clutch. And with no nearby hills on his route he had to leave it running all day.1300 stops for $120 a day probably closer to the mark.
Been there, done that. Always kept a spare, properly indexed starter in my van. R&R after the last stop of the day. Next morning, drop the bad one off at the rewind shop. Pick it back up a few days later.Sounds about right . And since to get that crate started that morning they probably had to coast it down a hill and pop the clutch. Example of the public not seeing ground. Skip to 5:19, unless you like to people repeat the same sentence over and over.Doesn’t mean squat to me in this discussion. It’s Ground here. You know the division of FDX that gets away with all sorts of crap that would have you fired at Express.
