You should read DIA.mil, RAND, USNI, etc and get a better understanding of threats and developing technology.
You know that the US and Allies are outnumbered and out-developed on about all land-based munitions and troops?
We dominate air and sea, but the technology to change that in a week of war exists and not so much with our Allies.
