Very well. I jumped too soon and I will retract the label I applied. You are correct that I am ignorant of the leanings of many here and I will try to do better.See, this is what I’m talking about. You have no idea what his politics are because you’ve only been on here a few months. But you accuse him of being a liberal.
He’s actually very open minded, does his homework and decides for himself. He’s pro-American, and more of a classic center left liberal, if that.
Stop labeling everyone. There are plenty of lefty’s here for you to flame, he’s not one of them.
Carry on.
My apologies for the hasty assessment I made. My error.Care to point them out for me? I'd be happy to address.

I know that I can sometimes be premature in the take I have on posts.
Thanks for setting me straight without insulting me. I genuinely appreciate this.

I will vote for Trump if he runs again but I could vote for a sensible Democrat in the future if one ever turned upI think it probably is difficult for new folks to nail down who's a moderate and who's a "moderate" here in 2022 because there are:
1) Folks like @Netsua 3:16 who say they're moderates only so they can tell themselves they're open minded (and they also believe the righteous hard left causes they support make them open minded by default), and then there are:
2) Folks who have policy and ideological preferences but aren't extremist one way or another, won't pledge allegiance to a political team and are interested in hearing what both sides have to say.
The latter probably describes a huge chunk of the country. It just doesn't describe many people here since Current Events is the place to come for charged up political kicks. And not having an official team here can be relatively boring and sometimes even a little lonely. Both sides are unhappy with me at one time or another.
It's all good in the hood, @BlackFriday .
Trump had excellent economic policies and national security policies but because some didn't like his personality we now have a president who's policies led directly to high inflation and an overrun border and thugs like Putin becoming emboldened. Just how much more damage will be done because people didn't like a guy who spent his entire life promoting himself and doesn't know how to operate differently? And not as many voters (particularly suburban women) would have voted for Biden only as a means to stop Trump if Trump hadn't been running. I'm pretty convinced the Republican share of the total 2020 Presidential vote would have been greater had he not.
Trumpees have to understand that a lot of voters think Trump is a vile sociopath. And they'll run out to the polls to vote only against that if they need to.

All the more reason to lurk awhile when you first come here.I think it probably is difficult for new folks to nail down who's a moderate and who's a "moderate" here in 2022 because there are:

Meanwhile we've got three more years of hardcore leftists running everything behind the scenes with Biden rubber stamping everything put in front of him. I only hope that as they try to move to the center before the midterms that people don't fall for it.And I wouldn’t vote for Trump but could vote for a sensible Republican in the future if one ever turned up. Sounds like something we might be able meet in the middle on someday.
Hard to tell. Trump would probably win the electoral college vote if another election were held today now that the Democratic Party has shown its hand. Only 40,000ish votes made the difference in 2020 and it’d be hard for me to believe that vote difference wouldn’t be made up today after we’ve had a year of Biden pooping all over himself at every turn.

I've noticed Itsy is being pretty quiet these days. Still looking for the adult in the room I guess.I probably wouldn’t have voted for President at all in 2020 if @It will be fine hadn’t assured me that Biden would be super moderate and boring.![]()

Pence has no base and people only like him because of trump, now he is nothingI hope he will show a bit of humility and learn from his mistakes from the past if he decides to run again. He has the tools to be a good one, and God forbid do not make Pence a scapegoat or an enemy...he has a considerable base and compared to Biden and Harris would be considered over qualified for the position.
His only major legislation is a bipartisan infrastructure bill. He’s moderate and boring. I don’t bother here any more because the right wing supports violent insurrection. There’s no point debating policy when one side is ok with a violent attack on the Capitol. I’ve no doubt you are swallowing the both sides the right likes to pretend exists. The only sides now are those of us that believe in democracy and the GOP that will happily violently destroy it. It’s a waste of my time to deal with those people. My dad’s father went out to walk the dog in a gated community. Part way through the walk forgot where he was and that he no longer lived at the old family house he raised my dad in.Miranda Devine from the New York Post was on Hannity and said" If Joe Biden was my grandfather I would take away his driver's license"
Most destructive riots in US history, attacks on federal buildings across the nation, lots of livelihoods destroyed over racist conspiracy theories, little bitty itty sleeps and votes democrat. His only major legislation is a bipartisan infrastructure bill.
