Maybe the federal government should do what they are supposed to do and quit raping citizens of the 50 states it tries to lord over. Maybe things would be different for them today if they didn't subscribe to the Robert Bryd concept of fleece the several states. They, as a state, over the years have voted for generational poverty, with hands out, kinda like the inner city democrat voters that prefer to be provided for.

Bryd, long dead left a legacy.

That is just my opinion.

Now a question, exactly why is West Virginia, generally still in this handout position?

I do, if you don't sell you don't lose anything... and long term, returns will probably average out in line with historical expectations.

The people who are hurt by Biden's terrible stock market are the ones who have to take the money out, like retirees who were expecting to live off returns, but instead have to chip away at their principal.

Recent retirees are most hurt by this since the opportunity cost is exponential, losing potential compound earnings they would have gotten from that principal for the rest of their lives.
