I think by 2024 they will know only a moderate will have a snowballs chance to keep the party in the White House. Joe has shown some spine that the Independents have yet to see in the present camp.

Which presents a problem for the Democratic Party because there are certain tenets that those in the left wing "base" of the Party believe are absolutely essential that true moderates will always disagree with them on. And there's to be no compromise on them in a post-TRUUUUUUUUUUMMMMPPPP first term world for the left wingers. Borders, babies, crime/racism, education, trans children, etc.

I don't think there's any turning back for the Democratic Party on the issues its leaders have deemed to be most important by its leaders in order to be in lock step with the Twitter wokies that colleges have been steadily churning out for at least 6 to 7 years now. I've always voted Democrat but those kiddies are basically from another planet ideologically. And I can't imagine the Democrats will be forsaking their current values in order to call me back anytime soon.
