Is this a "Hitler wasn't so bad" argument?
No, a lot of these protest are so garbled up with so many issues that its hard to sort those folks with legitimate grievances from the radical communists trying to latch on and make themselves more tolerable. Aka white supremacist, kkk with conservatives. And communists with anti racism marchers.

Again, this is the argument that the white supremacists want carried forward.

"Hey, most of the people counter protesting white supremacists were radicals and hate groups themselves". "They are just as bad" "With all those radicals anyway who could tell who from who"

This argument means that counter protesting white supremacist pro confederate statue protests, makes you just as bad as them, so may as well not even do it because you'll get painted with the same brush as being as bad as white supremacists, its all a big mess really who knows who is who. This is an immoral and terrible argument to make in response to counter protests to white supremacists.

I think white supremacists would relish an America where people didn't counter protest their racism.

Most of those statues were put up during the civil rights era. Why do you think that is?
Depends on what you define as the Civil Rights period.
The Southern states didn't have funds to put up statues until the 1890's and afterward.
The Lee statue in Charlottesville was erected in 1924 for instance.

Maybe not 'Just as bad' but definitely bad ... and both sides they got what they deserved anyway.

She was a soldier in the war against American freedoms.
Like almost any soldier, she did not specifically deserve to die but was in the wrong place at the right time.
Have you taken your medication today?
If not take it, and if you have you need to go back to the doctor to get him to adjust your dosage

Oh Gee Whillikers!
The 1st Amendment right to assemble and protest against the government.
That makes no sense.
The nazis assembled and protested, no one infringed on that right.

The people who are against hatred and bigotry assembled and protested too. Someone was murdered. If anyone was against "American freedoms" it was the alt-right losers.

Or are you suggesting that everyone has to take turns practicing freedom of speech..... we should have a list, everyone signs up for a day of exercising freedom of speech and just has to wait their turn. Lol.
