"As soon as Trump was elected, and since, stock values in financial institutions escalated to the sky," he said. Investors are "delighted he's going to eliminate regulations, let them make more profit; of course, it'll lead to another crash, but that's somebody else's problem. The taxpayers will take care of that."

He'd have lost in any district. The administration can't go around saying they just watered down their original plan but want the same basic outcome and be surprised when it gets blocked for the same reasons.

It would be pretty easy to show irreparable harm from such a policy. Alternatively he could actually try politicking, you know asking the opinion of his cabinet, drafting well written EO's that would actually improve national security. Or better yet, getting with the congress and drafting real legislation with clear goals that address specific problems with our immigration system. I'm happy with his approach of bumbling incompetence so far. He might have the least accomplished first 100 days in modern history.
