unfortunately the media only gave us the cost of Obama long winded vacations to exclusive resort areas. It would have been interesting to see what Obama's weekly golf outings were costing us but the media looked the other way then unlike now.
when its all said and done Trump is still working his weekends where Obama rarely did.

My problem with Trump is he's spending the tax payer money at his own resort. He makes money off every trip.

the problem with Michele's travel was not the expense for her to do so. it was her taking a large family group and listing them all as staffers which then means the taxpayers paid for their vacation.

it has been common for many presidents to designate a second residence on the weekends. some chose Camp David. Clinton may have been the last one to use camp David with any kind of consistency Presidents like to have a more relaxed environment to entertain guests which can promote more good will and better working relations. Trump didn't suddenly select Maralago when he became president he has been using it as his second residence for years as a private citizen.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
they said it used to be a designated place for presidents back in the day, not sure all the history. Trump works is five days then takes weekends off, your standard work week

When he has a dignitary at his Florida place, that's working. When he conducts meetings at his Florida place, that's working.
